Dear players!
The Russian Riichi community is proud to invite you to the 2nd season of Kawa League. 3 months of online Riichi Mahjong and up to 48 Hanchans!
There are no rank restrictions to join the event.

You and your opponents set the time and date of the games yourselves, so there should be less problems with time zones. Choose a time that suits you!

The estimated duration of the League season is about 3 months.
The season includes 4 stages:
1) Stage 1: All players, 6 weeks, 24 Hanchans
2) Stage 2: 60 players, 2 weeks, 8 Hanchans
3) Stage 3: 30 players, 2 weeks, 8 Hanchans
4) Finals: 4 players, 2 weeks, 8 Hanchans
1) Stage 1 will feature all eligible players. Each player will be assigned to 6 different tables, with each table playing 4 Hanchans. Tables will be revealed evenly throughout the stage. The top 60 players by total points will advance to Stage 2.
2) Stage 2 will feature 60 players, each one will be assigned to 2 tables, with 4 Hanchans at each table. Tables will be formed based on their position in the League rating. The top 30 players by total points will advance to Stage 3.
3) In the 3rd stage, 30 players will get 2 tables each, also 4 hanchans for each table. The 4 best players will advance to the final.
4) In the final, the 4 best players will play each other 8 hanchans.
Points are fully saved between stages.

Stage 1: August 11 - September 21
Stage 2: September 22 - October 5
Stage 3: October 6 - October 19
Final: October 20 - November 2

- Join the League chat in Telegram (https://t.me/kawaleague) and link your tenhou.net username to your Telegram account
Prizes:
The prize pool is approximately $700 at the moment.
1st place: 50% of the prize fund
2nd place: 25% of the prize fund
3rd place: 15% of the prize fund
4th place: 10% of the prize fund
